Organic Mole Control

We all love the great outdoors – but we don’t like the pests that can make an outdoor outing in the backyard a miserable event. Thankfully with today’s technological advances, we can safely get rid of unwanted pests without using traps, pesticides or chemicals that can be harmful to humans, especially children and the elderly, and desirable wildlife by using ultrasonic devices, electronic yard fences or strobe lights.

No one gets hurt when these products are used, even the animals that are not welcome is kept away in a safe and kind manner with the use of these products. These ultrasonic devices work by using high frequency sound or vibration that hurts the animal’s ears, keeping them away. I have a friend who absolutely despised the squirrels in her yard. Her house, her vegetation, her chairs on the deck – all ruined. The ultrasonic device that she acquired and used was very effective! Today, she is contented and its obvious the squirrels lived to haunt another house.

Gardens, plants and bushes will not be spared when gophers and moles attack the place. Your lawn will be ruined with all the bumps on the surface. It’s even dangerous to walk about because you might stumble or sprain your ankle. Air shafts. That is what they are making. These rodents tunnel their way through that good-looking garden of yours to make air shafts for their homes underneath the ground. A stretch of several miles and 2 to 5 feet deep, that is how their tunnels measure. Digging is in their nature and they can have 12 babies the most in a brood. They are always on the go that is why their bodies do not accumulate fat, and that they only eat the amount that corresponds to their own body weight. Annually, a mature mole consumes food of about 40 pounds. It is their routine – eat afterwards dig, then eat again, then dig again. Plants need worms to ventilate the soil for their development. Now, moles hinder these developments by eating the worms. Gophers consume on roots and plant matter.

Moles create meandering surface tunnels, while gophers rarely have surface tunnels – and when they do, they are straighter. If a gopher’s mound looks like a kidney bean, a mole’s mound looks like a tiny cone that is upside down. Thriving on vigorous and verdant greens, these tiny creatures live beneath it. Tree roots, grains, grasses, shrubs and some of the vegetables such as carrots, peas and beans are often the target of gophers and moles to chew on. Even flowers like lilies, irises and tulips can’t escape their mouths. Aside from the preferred rooted out, worms and insects, plant materials are also included in a mole’s diet. However, gophers like it better if the plant material is tender. They say gophers, moles, voles, chipmunks and woodchucks are very smart. They have been known to avoid and overcome traps, shun baits and poisons.

There is no question that if you have gophers or moles in your yard, you will know by the mounds, tunnels and damage. I am a lover of life. I cannot kill. The spiders at home, I transfer them outside, the snakes in the garden, I put them near the lake (Yes I know, I am one of THOSE persons.) So, I wouldn’t recommend killing them to get rid of them, but trying one of the many alternative ultrasonic devices available.

Are you contemplating about getting an lawn mole control product? If so, then I recommend you visit Safe Home. There you’ll obtain pretty much any organic mole control obtainable. Get Rid of those moles right now.
